To be perfectly honest, I don't even watch BSG. I don't know the characters or the full plot of the show and yet when this video was sent my way I was blown away. I had a physical reaction to this baby. I was so close to tears I had to turn it off. This video catches the viewers and pulls them into a tailspin of beautiful despair and is unrelenting with its suffocating grip. This video is a must see for anyone wanting to learn what story telling is all about. I still don't know the show but I feel like I know Starbuck.

This artist has made many delightful and superbly edited videos. I'm choosing to list this one for sentimental reasons as well as for the amazing quality. When I first fell into this fandom, about midway through season one, it was nearly impossible to find quality anything let alone vids. This is the first SPN vid that made me sit back and audibly say 'woah'. I highly recommend checking out all the vids listed by this vidder.

This has every thing I love. A killer song, fast editing, excellent clip choice, hard beats and my boys. Excuse me, I'm in my happy place.

I do love bouncy, happy vids. This is one of my favorites.

And for a stylish, innovative piece check out Protege Moi. You will notice drastic differences between these two vids. There are vidders out there that turn out cookie cutter vids one after another. The vidders on this page stand out because they always push the limits of what they can do to better express themselves. The coloring in Protege Moi is amazing and should push vidders to utilize all tools available in the telling of the story that resides within them.

I'm pretty certain this video is already on every recommendation page out there, but since she's my best friend I have to pimp the most awesome vid she's done thus far. She has been kicking ass in the Stargate fandom a few years now and with this video she dominated the Supernatural fandom. The clip choice is spot on, the music choice is inspired and the editing gives me goosebumps. Go watch this vid then check out all her others. It is well worth it.

This video is simply masterful. It is thoughtful, provocative and a realistic telling of the relationship between all three Winchester men. Hard-core fucking brilliance!

This vidder utilized her effects to keep her video in constant motion. There is not one stagnate scene in this vid. The story telling is also superb.

I've only just begun watching this program and I honestly don't know what I used to do on Tuesday's. Seriously, what was I thinking? I viewed this video and my heart broke. The story telling is brilliant and the clips used to detail the questions of faith are poignant and moving. This is a powerful vid that exhibits superior editing skills. Everyone could learn from this vidder. I recommend checking out the other vids listed for this vidder.

What do you get when you have a movie, ten years of plot, mythology and new spin-off? An impressive, effective video that boils it all down to one sub-plot that covers it all.

This is a good friend of mine and her vids are always full of surprises. Her vids are well planned and executed with precision. The thing that always gets me ,other than the tight editing, is the title sequences. She takes special care and brings something new and exciting each time.

I've harbored a vidder crush on this person since I stumbled upon her pain filled masterpiece 'Atropine' in the Buffy universe. I highly recommend downloading and viewing every singe vid available because every one is visually stunning and edited so tightly you'd think it aired like that. My current favorite:

I hate Doctor Who. I'm scarred from the 80's version my dad would fall asleep to, leaving me trapped with nothing else to watch. *shudders* This video, however, makes me rethink my hatred. Almost. For DW fans, this is a must-see vid. For vidders of all fandoms wanting to see something spectacular, this vid is a must-see.

A double shot of X-Files love. Running up that Hill is a Scully/Skinner video but don't let that turn you away. It is beautifully edited from Skinner's POV showing an unrequited love that is bittersweet in it's futility. Devil by my Side is a look into Mulder's journey: the darkness that pulls at him, the light that is offered by his partnership. Very good character piece.

This video sorta snuck up on me. I fell in love with NCIS briefly in March 08'. Having fallen, hard, I went and watched all the eps I could get and basically gorged myself to the point of sickness. The rush of puppy love is over and I'm stuck trying to remember why I liked it in the first place. Then I came across this video. This video is what the show could have been. Should have been. It's what I had been expecting and what I never saw, much to my own disappointment. Fluid editing, scenes that paint a picture worth viewing.
